CYCLING HAS ACCEPTED THAT SPEED COMES WITH RISK.

WE DON’T.

L•A•P INTRODUCES P1 — RACEWEAR WITHOUT THE OLD TRADE-OFF.

Cycling has spent decades engineering speed.

Lighter bikes. Faster wheels. Better aerodynamics. Marginal gains measured in watts.

Yet the rider still races at speed wearing little more than Lycra.

We never accepted that as the final answer.

L•A•P was built around a simple belief:

CYCLISTS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN PERFORMANCE AND PROTECTION.

So we built something different.

INTRODUCING P1.

Racewear first.

Lightweight. Aerodynamic. Exceptionally breathable. Engineered to move naturally at speed.

Then we made protection a choice.

P1 uses independently removable CE Level 1 D3O® impact protectors at the shoulders, hips, and back.

FULL // TARGETED // NONE

Choose the protection the ride calls for.

The garment remains exactly what it was engineered to be:

RACEWEAR.

BUILT FOR SPEED.

PROTECTION IS YOUR CHOICE.

WHY L•A•P EXISTS.

Professional cyclists routinely reach speeds where a crash can change a race, a season, a career — or far more.

For us, that reality became personal.

L•A•P was developed by professional cyclists with input from experts across cycling, sports medicine, and impact protection — people who understand both the demands of performance and the consequences when things go wrong.

One question kept coming back:

WHY HAD CYCLING ENGINEERED EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE RIDER?

Cyclists weren’t going to stop riding fast.

We weren’t going to stop racing.

So asking the rider to change was never the answer.

THE EQUIPMENT HAD TO EVOLVE.

That became L•A•P.

P1 // RACEWEAR FIRST.

We did not start with protective gear and try to make it feel like cycling apparel.

We started with racewear.

Every material, panel, seam, and pocket was developed around the demands of performance cycling.

LIGHT ENOUGH TO RACE.

AERODYNAMIC ENOUGH TO COMPETE.

BREATHABLE ENOUGH FOR EXTREME HEAT.

UNRESTRICTED ENOUGH TO MOVE NATURALLY AT SPEED.

Then we gave the rider the option of impact protection.

THE GARMENT IS ENGINEERED FOR PERFORMANCE.

THE REMOVABLE D3O® PROTECTORS ARE ENGINEERED FOR IMPACT PROTECTION.

SPEED IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.

ENGINEERED TO BREATHE.

Protection only matters if cyclists are willing to wear it.

P1’s removable D3O® impact protectors use an open lattice construction that allows air to move through protected areas, helping preserve ventilation where the protectors sit.

P1 has been tested by professional athletes in temperatures exceeding 100°F.

Because adding protection should not mean abandoning the breathability, movement, or feel cyclists expect from premium racewear.

YOUR RIDE. YOUR CHOICE.

P1 gives the rider control over how the garment is configured.

FULL
Shoulders. Hips. Back.

TARGETED
Choose the protection the ride calls for.

NONE
Pure racewear.

The protection changes.

The purpose of the garment does not.

BUILT FOR SPEED. PROTECTION IS YOUR CHOICE.

P1 // PROJECT 001

P1 debuted through PROJECT 001 // FOUNDERS CUT — the first limited production release from L•A•P.

It sold out.

But PROJECT 001 was never the finish line.

It was the beginning of a larger idea:

CYCLING APPAREL CAN EVOLVE.

Not by asking cyclists to ride differently.

By asking more from what they wear.

P1 is the first platform.

What comes next builds from here.

LIGHT. AERODYNAMIC. PROTECTION.

BUILT FOR WHAT’S NEXT.
